The cable length measuring device is a powerful and versatile measuring instrument that was specially designed for the precise measurement of electrical cables and wires. With an impressive measuring range of 0.1m up to an astonishing 30km, this device can measure and display cable lengths. Since the cable length measuring device determines the length via the line resistance, it can also determine the resistance from 0.1 mΩ to 1999.9 Ω. With this measuring principle it is also necessary to connect the Kelvin terminals to both cable ends.
The temperature monitoring function, which covers an operating range of -5 °C to +50 °C, allows the influence of temperature fluctuations on the length measurement to be taken into account. The cable length meter supports displaying cable length in various units including meters (m), kilometers (km) and feet (ft) to meet the different needs of users and nations.
